About Us
Shanthi Weda Madhura is a government-registered traditional Ayurveda and Hela Wedakama wellness centre nestled in the serene hills of Ampitiya, Kandy. Founded and led by Dr. Mangalika Rajasekara, we practise the ancient Sri Lankan healing system of Hela Wedakama — an indigenous tradition that has cured patients across Sri Lanka for generations. We treat the root cause, not just the symptoms, using 100% natural plant-based herbal medicines prepared on-site.

Hela Wedakama & Shanthi Wedakama Practitioner
Dr. Mangalika Rajasekara is a licensed and registered traditional Hela Wedakama and Shanthi Wedakama physician practising in Ampitiya, Kandy, Sri Lanka. With over 20 years of dedicated healing experience, she holds a Diploma in Indigenous Medicine awarded by the Department of Ayurveda, Sri Lanka, and is officially registered under the Ayurveda Act. She is also a Justice of the Peace (JP) for the Kandy District.
Trained in the ancient Hela Wedakama tradition — Sri Lanka's own indigenous healing system — Dr. Rajasekara prepares all herbal medicines personally on the clinic premises using locally sourced Sri Lankan medicinal plants. She has successfully treated thousands of patients with chronic conditions including arthritis, diabetes, cardiovascular disease, sinusitis, and neurological disorders.
